Great vid and office anyway. Reply Cuban Nerd March 30, 2019 My room is pretty similar. I wonder how many Dominion expansions do you have. 😁 Reply Airi Makes Things March 30, 2019 Hi Charli, great video. You totally activated my Siri when you tried to turn off your office light 😂 Reply Kreative Chaos Guides March 31, 2019 i do remote work all the time. i sit at home, and turn on the tv with my remote working everyday Reply Michael Harvey March 31, 2019 Really nice setup. A good working environment is at least 50% of the way to success. Very subjective, but your print collection reminds me of modern art – which I never understood. It's just different font types with the typical motivational quotes. We're all different though. Good video! Reply Wise Digital Designs March 31, 2019 Loved this video. As a remote worker myself, it's definitely inspiring to see. Currently I work at the dining table (don't have a separate working space atm). But when I do, Ill definitely be taking notes from this video. I love how simple, clean and motivating the space is. Great job on the space, love the art wall too. Reply Smay Moore March 31, 2019 Proud of you for keeping the cacti (pretty much) alive! 😂 Reply Jill Van Halen March 31, 2019 Love how you've been able to keep your space uncluttered. I'm always trying new ways to store and access stuff but really I just need to get rid of things haha! Your prints are awesome too! I have band tour posters in frames and one quote. Would love an electric sit stand desk this year. Thanks for sharing your space! Reply justborja March 31, 2019 I love Melodrama! Maybe even more than Pure Heroine hahaI'd love to have my filming set-up always ready, but I don't really have enough space either 😅 Reply Lucia Montes March 31, 2019 I wish I could work from home! I keep trying to request it at work but it hasn’t happened yet Reply Sue March 31, 2019 Inspiring, another great video – thank you. I work from home and moved from my kitchen area to a dedicated office room (large posh garden shed, ie heat and power!) and its home for two desks (me and my colleague) and everything else we need. A dedicated office area is a must when trying to remain focused and not be overwhelmed by work when your trying to relax. The Ikea shelves are a big feature in my office, perfect for lever arch files. (I’m a bookkeeper)Keep up the great work. Your channel has helped me have confidence to create my own website on my shoestring budget and build my business; without which I wouldn’t be where I am, so a big thank you, to you x Reply Eddie Jaoude March 31, 2019 Stickers on the laptop ❤️🤓 Reply Eeka March 31, 2019 Loved this! I would be really interested in how you collaborate with your team. Working remote is the dream. Keep being awesome! Reply Briyana Butler April 1, 2019 Hi Charli, could you do a video on your experience working with both your desktop and laptops? I have a great desktop and want a laptop for portability and flexibility in where I work but I am curious how the workflow works with them. Do you mostly do one thing on one over the other? Or are you able to shift between them for the same projects? Anyone with advice can feel free to comment too! Reply Ariel Bissett April 1, 2019 i want my own office so badly! definitely a big goal for me soon!!!! Reply Sharon Brown-Cikos April 1, 2019 I’ve been working remotely for 3 years and only just sorted myself with a home office this year. I would sit and work all over my house, and end up cleaning etc throughout my day, and often working many more hours than I was paid to. It’s so much more productive to have a space you can focus in, and relaxing to have one you can “leave” after the days work. Reply Manac Designs April 1, 2019 Loved the setup! Mine is somewhat similar to this especially when you showed us the messed one lol Reply Robby Goodwin April 1, 2019 Has Charlie ever done a video about hiring your first graphic designer? Reply Renato Renan April 2, 2019 as usual, great video charlie! 👍 I wanna suggest a video sharing what do you do to stay updated to web desing stuff, especially because your home office. I think that it's kinda of difficult the learning process when you have to self discipline study as well as you work. do you have any suggestions for websites, courses online, people to follow, etc? thank you! 😊 Reply joar April 4, 2019 Watched this having breakfast (blueberry waffles) and remembered my fresh brewed coffee waiting for me in the kitchen as you mentioned your coffee in the video. So, thanks for the (still) hot coffee :-). Reply Dave Morgang April 5, 2019 Hi Charli, thanks for share your setup! By the way, which model is that Samsung printer? How has been your experience with it? I need to buy one but still I can't decide. Reply Graham Welsby April 6, 2019 Hi Charlie, love the videos… how did you find and get your job remote working? And how do you find being separate from the other team members. Thanks Reply KimmDesign Studio April 7, 2019 Great office! Would love to hear how you got your US client! Reply sadhbheire July 5, 2019 Hey Charlie, great video! Goals!I would like to ask if you have a digital system you can share about how you get on top of your tasks from multiple core projects, side projects and admin tasks that get thrown at you in the day-to-day work? I work for a multinational too and the 24 hour emails and pings and tasks and projects sometimes overwhelm me and id like to invest time in a system for managing my office work 🙂TY! 🙂 Reply Item Manis August 22, 2019 You look beautiful with short hair… Reply Amy Woolsey October 20, 2019 Hi Charli, I work remotely and set up a room I refer to as my workshop that is also known as "the WWW room" because it functions as my Wardrobe, Workout and Workspace room. So it has my closet (my husband has the closet in our bedroom), it has our treadmill, and it has an 8' worktable (2 1/2m?) with an 8'X5' pegboard that I painted the same color as the wall and I hang everything (my inbox, scissors, ornaments, rotary cutter, wire baskets full of bits, a plant- you name it). On the opposite wall I have the same IKEA bookshelf you do, but in black. I love the setup- it just makes me want to get to work.
